Music will reignite the heart of Castelló on October 11th. Fantastic Festival returns with a renewed format, new location, and a strong desire to keep growing.
After a grand debut in 2024, Fantastic Festival not only returns: it does so with more strength, more focus, and clearer than ever. Its second edition already has a date, place, and goal. On the upcoming Saturday, October 11, 2025, the Plaza de Toros de Castelló will become the new home of a musical experience that aims to gather 8,000 people in a day that promises to be unforgettable.
This return represents a step forward. From the two-day format in a peripheral venue, the festival leaps to the urban center, to the beating heart of the city. And it does so for several reasons: to get closer to its people, to generate life in the streets, and also for the music to leave a mark beyond the stage. A firm commitment to the model of a lively city, with culture that is heard, danced, and shared.
One night, many emotions
In its previous edition, Fantastic Festival gathered more than 9,500 people in an intergenerational lineup that connected young and not-so-young audiences with names like Álvaro de Luna, Sidecars, or La Oreja de Van Gogh. In 2025, the proposal is condensed into a single day, but the ambition does not decrease: the team behind the festival, the promoter Make It, has promised a lineup at the level of the major national venues, with artists who have thrilled venues as demanding as the WiZink Center in Madrid.
A change of format that is not a renunciation, but a renewal. An edition designed to live music intensely, from the first band to the last chord.
A plaza with history that beats with culture
The Plaza de Toros de Castelló is not just a new venue: it is a statement of intent. Its central location allows the festival to merge with the city, for bars, shops, and terraces to live that pulse. According to its director, Juan Carlos Vidal, this edition seeks to generate a more direct impact on the local economy and the cultural fabric that shapes the current Castelló.
An idea that is not foreign to other events that are revaluing urban spaces with large-format concerts. The Rock n’ Blues Festival in Don Benito, for example, also opted to bring rock to the center as part of a shared experience beyond the stage.
Castelló, with music as a driving force
Fantastic Festival is not just an attractive lineup. It is also an example of how a city can bet on culture at times when there are traditionally no major events. October is no longer a farewell to summer: it is a welcome to live music.
Make It knows this well. After years of promoting the Som Festival, it now doubles down on proposals that, in addition to entertaining, build community, activate neighborhoods, and place Castelló on the map of the country’s major musical events.
